(Slippery Rock, PA)- Kevin Hughes started for the Ironmen on Tuesday and struck out a team high 9 batters, but was unable to record a league best 4th win. The Ironmen, who were going for a three game road sweep at Slippery Rock were unable to mount a third straight last at bat win and lost to the Sliders 4-3. read more>
Ironmen win at Chillicothe last night, 3-2
Dan Poskocil gets the win in 12 innings and Cameron Palmer gets the save. The Ironmen move into second place with a 6-6 record. They take on the Paints tonight in Chillicothe @ 7:05pm.
Ironmen bringing regular season college baseball to the Pipe Yard
The Lorain County Ironmen are pleased to announce that they will be hosting local college baseball teams at the Pipe Yard this season. Division 2 school, Notre Dame College, will be playing several home games in Lorain this spring. Along with NDC, Lorain County Community College will play their entire home schedule at the Pipe Yard. read more >
Lorain County Ironmen announce 2011 Schedule
The Ironmen will open the season June 2nd, in Slippery Rock, PA. The Home Opener will be the following night Friday June 3rd. The game will begin at 7:05pm with fireworks to follow celebrating the start of our second season in Lorain County.
