•The Ironmen play in the Prospect League. This is a summer league for college athletes. By playing in this league they are able to get experience and simulate the professional baseball life without risking their amateur status.
•The precursor to the Prospect League had been in place for forty years and has sent over 175 players to the Major Leagues, including players such as, Ryan Howard and recent Cleveland fan favorite Jamey Carroll.
