Lorain, OH-March 16-The Lorain County Ironmen are pleased to announce that they will be hosting local college baseball teams at the Pipe Yard this season. Division 2 school, Notre Dame College, will be playing several home games in Lorain this spring. Along with NDC, Lorain County Community College will play their entire home schedule at the Pipe Yard.
Notre Dame will kick off the 2011 Pipe Yard schedule this weekend when they host the State University of New York Canton. The first game will be Saturday, March 19th at 1:00pm. They will follow that up on Sunday, March 20th, with a game at 12:00pm. Notre Dame’s coaching staff features Cleveland Indians legend Len Barker.
LCCC will begin play on Saturday, March 26th when they host Mercyhurst at 1:00pm. LCCC features numerous local standouts getting the opportunity to play in front of the Lorain County fans again. For a full schedule please visit http://www.lorainccc.edu/Sports.
Ironmen season tickets will be available for purchase at the Pipe Yard during the games or can be purchased by calling 440-522-9549. Season tickets are only $99 for a limited time. The Ironmen will feature top college players this summer including members of the Ohio State University baseball team.
